I am a machine learning engineer on the Health Sensing Hardware team at Apple.

Previously, I led the data science team at Eko, building machine learning systems to analyze heart/lung sounds and electrocardiograms. Prior to joining Eko, I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley, advised by Murat Arcak, where I worked on control and optimization algorithms for medical imaging applications in collaboration with UCSF's Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging. I also studied biomedical engineering at UBC and was an undergraduate in mathematics at the University of Alberta.
